As we were eating dinner, Margot suggested we get up at sunrise. The almanac told us that the sun should be up at 5:45, so we had a good reason to go to bed early. Up at 5:30, we decided to leave the mooring right away since the sun was blocked by trees. It was a bit cloudy, but beautiful. And yes, the sun had climb above the fog for us to see it.
Soon enough we were sailing in that fog, again quarter mile visibility until we were entering Lunenburg harbor when visibility dropped to maybe 200 meters. With the help of radar and GPS we found a place to anchor, got into the dingy to go to the market. On the water we saw Jeff and Marcia who were coming back from the market and in the 10 minutes we chatted the fog lifted.
The market is very nice indeed. Besides berries, greens, bread, meats, and eggs there are stalls that sell hats, creams, decorations, leather items, etc. We ate a bagel and a cheese croissant, listened to a flute player and then headed back to drop the food at the boat. We now have fresh tomatoes, turnips, cucumbers, bread, apple cider, more than enough for a few days.

Since we were down to one tank of water we took advantage of the nearly windless weather to wash the boat and replenish water. Salty Ginger is now clean inside and out, and we are catching up with electronic means of communication in the library after a visit to the Atlantic Fisheries museum. For a change, it is actually hot outside: all of 25C and blazing sun.
The library wifi allowed me to upload pictures from the phone and the tablet, so here are the ones from the passage to Lunenburg.
I'll post more pictures later.
